Spelled after a Dec 28 flop, the Douglas Whyte-trained galloper has benefited from the break, opening this campaign with two competitive efforts over this track/trip.

In a race that suited the on-pace brigade, he was unsuited here two starts back and then at Sha Tin on May 21, he was held-up before working home in restricted room.

The market looks to have it right in leaning towards the lightly raced pair of Always Awesome and King Invincible, with both runners suited up to 1200m this evening.

This son of Dalghar should've gone close at a big price on debut, where he was badly held-up before swinging off heels and charging home for a two-length defeat.

While staying at 1000m wasn't ideal, he proved that first effort was no fluke when finding the line for fourth and from barrier two, the three-year-old will get a soft run.

While he lacks the consistency of some more fancied rivals in this, the bunched finish back on March 1 in a similar affair suggests there isn't much between them.

Gorgeous Vitality was only a stride off Seasons Wit (fav) in a contest that Atomic Force took out, while he's meeting them much better at the weights now.

Given the backmarkers didn't really figure, he was okay last start under the circumstances and with a stronger tempo this time, this gelding could be the blowout.
