Intel Extreme Masters Melbourne 2025 Favourites

IEM Melbourne 2025 will be one of the more exciting CS2 esports tournaments of the season as it will give the answer to whether Team Vitality (1.66) can keep their tag as the most dominant squad in the scene.

The Bees head to Australia with a very impressive resume, having won the last three S-Tier tournaments, including IEM Katowice 2025, ESL Pro League Season 21, and BLAST Open Spring 2025.

They are undefeated since their slip-up against Eternal Fire at BLAST Bounty Spring 2025, which translates to 16 straight victories, and it is not like they’ve had an easy schedule.

Given their form this season, it is impossible to question Team Vitality and how good this team is. However, IEM Melbourne 2025 will feature other strong contenders who might find a way to break the French team.

MOUZ (4.00), in particular, are an interesting squad and – as they’ve proven – a threat to Vitality. Despite having yet to crack Team Vitality this season, MOUZ forced them to five maps in the recent BLAST Open Spring 2025 finals.

While the two most successful squads of the season will get their fair share of attention, most of the spotlight will be on Team Falcons (7.00), who have recently made a blockbuster signing of G2 Esports star AWPer Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov.

The young player will debut at IEM Melbourne 2025 and is arguably the player to help the Falcons find new heights and continue to find more success in the more significant events.
