Rocket League eSports Structure
- The first edition was held in August 2016. The prize pool stood at $50,000, which was distributed among eight teams, four from North America and Europe. iBUYPOWER from North America won the Championship after they beat FlipSide3 in the Grand Final.
- There have been 10 seasons of the RLCS following the above, and they are usually split into two events played across the spring and fall seasons. The prize pool currently stands at an impressive $2 million.
- Season 3 saw the RLCS expand to 10 teams, with representation from Oceania too.
- The 2019 season saw Psyonix partner with ELEAGUE, with this expanding the teams to 12 with South America represented too.
