Elena Rybakina vs Mirra Andreeva Tips, Prediction & Live Stream - Andreeva to continue incredible run into Dubai final

Andreeva has long been touted as a future Grand Slam champion and the 17-year-old phenom is producing that level of tennis this week in Dubai - and I'm backing her to reach a maiden WTA 1000 title. Andreeva has been dominant all tournament and is coming off a brilliant 6-3 6-3 demolition of World No. 2 Iga Swiatek in the quarter-finals. Rybakina has been playing solid tennis, but I still don't think she's at her best and she was forced to save six match points in the R16 - you could say she's been on borrowed time all tournament. If Andreeva can maintain her current leve, the Russian is a great chance to advance into the title match.

Rybakina leads 1-0, but that match came at Beijing 2023 - and even then Andreeva managed to win the opening set before going down 2-6 6-4 6-1.

It's been a tumultuous last year or so for Rybakina - she only managed three wins after Wimbledon for the remainder of 2024 as rumours about her coach began to swirl. That said coach has now been banned for a year, but Rybakina's results have improved to begin 2025.

Indeed, Rybakina has compiled a 13-4 record on the season to date, making the fourth round of the Australian Open, where she took a set off eventual champion Madison Keys.

Rybakina proceeded to reach the semi-finals in Abu Dhabi (lost to Bencic) and quarter-finals of Doha last week (went down to Swiatek) before her run to the Dubai semi-finals, where she's defeated Moyuka Uchijima, Paula Badosa (saved six match points) and Sofia Kenin.

It's been a meteoric rise for Andreeva, who is now up to No. 12 in the live rankings and can break the top 10 by winning the Dubai title.

Andreeva has registered an 11-3 record on the season so far, making the Brisbane semi-finals and Australian Open fourth round, going down to Aryna Sabalenka on both occasions.

After an early exit in Doha last week, Andreeva has played the best tennis of her short career in Dubai, advancing to the semi-finals without dropping a single set in dominant victories over Elina Avanesyan, Marketa Vondrousva, Peyton Stearns and Iga Swiatek.

Andreeva became the youngest player since Nicole Vaidosova in 2007 to record five top 10 wins with her 6-3 6-3 triumph over Swiatek, coming from a break down in the second set.
