The 2026 Australia Cup competition gets underway with the R32 on July 14 and we've got the latest betting odds for who will win.

A total of 777 teams have participated in this edition of the Australia Cup, with the remaining 32 set to battle it out for the silverware over the coming months.

Ten A-League clubs have entered at the R32 stage, with 22 Member Federation teams joining them and hoping to cause a 'Cupset' along the way.

The Australia Cup is often unpredictable, especially in the early rounds where A-League clubs are still early in their preseason and yet to finalise their rosters, meaning they tend to field weaker teams with youth players.

When A-League clubs begin to reach the R16 and quarter-finals, they will tend to take the competition more seriously, meaning there's a good chance for NPL sides in the R32 to spring some surprises.

You can find the latest Australia Cup betting odds (courtesy of Picklebet) for all teams ahead of the R32 in the table below.

Newcastle Jets are the defending Australia Cup champions having toppled NPL Victoria heavyweights Heidelberg United 3-1 after extra-time in the 2025 final.

The Jets also finished the last A-League season as minor premiers, but were knocked out in the semi-finals by Sydney FC.

As expected, the Jets' have lost a bunch of players to overseas clubs ahead of this season, but did sign Joe Lolley from Sydney for the upcoming campaign.

Sydney are the early favourites to win the trophy at $5.50, slightly ahead of Newcastle at $6.00.

There's a logjam of A-League clubs priced from $9.00 to $11, while South Melbourne are the most-fancied NPL side ahead of the R32.
