Auckland vs Perth Glory Tips, Preview & Live Stream - Auckland to celebrate Premiers Plate with a win

Auckland are set to claim the Premiers Plate in their inaugural season, especially if they manage a point against Perth Glory, having shown strong form with only two losses. However, their recent home matches have resulted in draws. Conversely, Perth sits at the bottom, striving to escape the wooden spoon, but are bolstered by a recent 4-1 victory over Adelaide. With both teams frequently seeing goals on both sides in past matches, bets on 'Both Teams To Score' could provide value.

Auckland vs Perth Glory Tips

Auckland are on the verge of winning the Premiers Plate in a dream debut season and I'm backing them to do so with a win.

They have conceded in the last five home matches and Perth are good for goals, so I'm backing BTTS for value.

Head To Head

Perth Glory are one of only two teams to have been Auckland in the A-League. They won 1-0 in Perth in the only previous meeting in Round 13.

Auckland Form

Auckland moved to the verge of topping in the A-League when 2-0 at Melbourne Victory last weekend.

The 14th win of the season means Auckland need a point to seal the Premiers Plate, although it could be in the bag before kick-off if Melbourne City fail to win on Saturday.

Steve Corica's side have lost just twice all season but have struggled for wins at home of late, drawing their last three matches against Adelaide United 4-4, Central Coast Mariners 2-2 and Western Sydney Wanderers 1-1.

Auckland Team News

Auckland have a full squad to choose from.

Perth Glory Form

Perth Glory got just their third win of the season last weekend when defeating Adelaide United 4-1 at home.

It is not enough to keep Glory at the foot of the ladder and on course for the wooden spoon though, with just 14 points collected from 24 games.

Perth now trail Brisbane Roar by four points and need something from this trip to Auckland if they are to stand a chance of avoiding the wooden spoon.

The win over Adelaide followed a run of four straight losses in which Perth conceded three or more goals.

Perth Glory Team News

Andriano Lebib, Zach Lisolajski, Takuya Okamoto, Lachlan Wales and David Williams are all sidelined with injury.

Verdict

Auckland are on the verge of winning the Premiers Plate in a dream debut season and I'm backing them to do so with a win.
