Western Australian State Election Odds - Which party will win the WA State Election?

Ahead of the election, Labor arrive as the favourites at $1.50 with bookmaker TopSport, but are they the party to back in 2025?

The Labor Party are the favourites to win the 2025 Western Australian State Election at $1.50 with SportsBet. The Coalition is available at $2.65, while Any Other Party can be backed at $101.00. 

Scheduled to take place on March 8, 2025, the WA State Election will see Roger Cook leading his Labor Party against Shane Love of the National Party and Libby Mettam of the Liberal Party. 

In 2021, Mark McGowan secured 53 seats as Labor bettered their performance in 2017 by notching a further 13 seats. Meanwhile, Mia Davies of the National Party saw their share of seats slip by two, with the party only securing four seats. The Liberals secured two seats after losing 12 seats. 

The bookmakers clearly make this one a close race. While Labor are the current favourites, they are hardly well clear of a Coalition securing power. The only outcome that sees very unlikely is any other party outside of Labor or a Coalition winning. 

With the election edging closer, the betting odds will shift and change as favour swings between one party and another. There is still time for a Coalition to move ahead of Labor in the betting, but it will be tough for any party to end Labor's time in office, with the party looking to secure a third successive term in office and first team since former Premier Mark McGowan resigned.
