Minnesota had to deliver a 4th quarter comeback to get the win last weekend against the Bears 27-24. The scores were 17-6 heading into the final term and it seemed like the coaching staff let QB J.J. McCarthy off the leash to give themselves a chance to get the W.
McCarthy had just the 1 pass attempt in the first quarter as the team tried to ease him into his first ever NFL start. The young gun quickly warmed and despite having only 13 completions he threw 143 yards and 2 TD’s. He was sacked 3 times though casting some doubt over the Vikings O-line.
