Grafton Best Bet - Race 2 No. 1 Homeland
With three runs under the belt, there's no excuses here for Homeland, who looks suited by the rise in distance for Friday's fourth-up assignment.
The four-year-old was a little one-paced last time out when third-of-eleven in a fast-run maiden and he may have stayed at a sprint journey for one run too many.
Homeland was good prior to that when covering ground (beat home a subsequent winner) and first-up in February, he caught the eye (fastest last 200m of the race).

Grafton Next Best Bet - Race 6 No. 6 Olivershare
We'll get a guide to his form through Homeland in Race 2, as Olivershare won the maiden on April 13 and the three-year-old was resuming there.
I suspect that form will hold up (runner-up contested a Listed race at her next start) and the David McColm-trained galloper still has improvement to come.
Olivershare produced an even debut effort in November, where he was heavily backed and this youngster is one of the few progressive horses in this field.

While this gelding hasn't saluted over this trip, he's versatile in regards to distance and Ljungberg has been successful over a mile, so 1435m won't pull him up.
This veteran has been ticking over fairly, with an even last start performance at the provincials, where he was a set a big task in a slowly run race.
Prior to that Gosford attempt, Ljungberg recorded the fastest last 400m of the April 7 program from Tuncurry and that second-up effort was on heavy ground.

Grafton Value Bet - Race 9 No. 9 Do It For You
A drop in grade and coming back in trip are two big positives for Do It For You, who covered ground last time out via a metro Class 3 at Eagle Farm.
The five-year-old arrived to that Brisbane assignment off a luckless third in an Ipswich BM58, where he was badly held-up before getting out at the 50m.
Three subsequent winners have been produced from that Ipswich event and with a low draw this time around, Do It For You should get a soft run on a moderate speed.
