A return to firmer footing saw Panova (barrier 6) return to winning form when claiming the Group 1 Australasian Oaks on April 25, recording her first victory of the campaign after closing out the spring with consecutive Group 3 victories.

The Chris Waller-trained filly proved herself at 2000m in Adelaide and now steps up to 2200m, with a quiet trial at Warwick Farm on May 25 serving as preparation for this assignment.

Waller also prepares Chispa (barrier 20), who appreciated the rise to 1800m when scoring impressively at Randwick-Kensington on May 13 before finishing runner-up in The Roses on May 23, the key lead-up race to the Queensland Oaks.

The champion trainer is chasing a fourth Queensland Oaks success and arrives with confidence after preparing the quinella in last Saturday's Queensland Derby.

Fireball Miss (barrier 18) has continued to progress throughout the preparation and delivered a commanding victory in The Roses at her most recent start, which was her first attempt at 2000m.

The Ciaron Maher-trained filly is a half-sister to Femminile, the winner of last year's South Australian Derby over 2500m, suggesting the rise in distance should hold no concerns.

Solid Gold (barrier 4) backs up from the Queensland Derby, where she finished fifth as favourite after producing an encouraging Australian debut in the Group 3 Rough Habit Plate on May 16.

Grand Omaha (barrier 17) and Single Red (barrier 21) also bring strong credentials after filling the minor placings in The Roses, finishing third and fourth respectively, while Soverato (barrier 8) and Parvenu (barrier 7) were both competitive in the Group 2 event.

Fringes (barrier 16) arrives from South Australia in winning form, having strung together consecutive victories, including a Group 3 success in the SA Fillies Classic at her latest appearance.
