Champagne Classic 2020 Barrier Draw

Brisbane trainers Tony Gollan (Isotope) and Robert Heathcote (Rothfire) lock horns in the Group Two Champagne Classic at Eagle Farm this Saturday with their star juveniles.

Rothfire (barrier two) was unbeaten from his first four attempts and following some big margin victories, was defeated at a starting price of $1.20 in the $500,000 QTIS 2yo Jewel on March 14 and was subsequently spelled.
Isotope (barrier six) who was the $2 favourite for the Champagne Classic with Sportsbetting.com.au prior to the barrier draw, is two from two, where after a ten length romp on debut, impressed again when scoring comfortably at the Sunshine Coast on April 25.

Sydney visitors in Wild Ruler (barrier nine), Beylicks (barrier one) and Kukeracha (barrier three) from the Chris Waller stable, help make up what looms as an intriguing little two-year-old battle.
