The Denver Broncos numbers are heavily skewed, putting up enough points in just one quarter in their last 3 matches and have miraculously found a way to win all three of their matches. That gives me no faith in Denver at all.

I don’t have faith in America’s team either but I see this one playing out this way. I give the Cowboys the edge because they start with the points and I’m not confident Denver’s offence has enough in them.

Cortland Sutton is the number one receiver for Denver and will get open against a poor secondary of the Cowboys and will go over his 60.5 receiving yards total. Dallas’s Jake Ferguson is the top target in the red zone for Dak and he will score a TD in his fifth straight game.

How bad are Dallas is the question, not how good are they. It is pretty tough to judge because they are both. Their offence is red hot, their defence is not.

Dak Prescott is at his best and is getting protected well giving up just 1.1 sacks per game, which is second-second best in the league. The Cowboys are moving the ball downfield better than anybody, with the acquisition of George Pickens complimenting CeeDee Lamb, Prescott has almost too many options and he is finding his guys.

The defence is the complete opposite unfortunately, giving up an average of 4.01.6 yards per game of offence to their opposition, the most in the NFL. they are ranked 30th against the rush and 32nd against the pass and are giving up 29.4 points per game, lucky the offence is scoring more, which is why they have managed to be 3-3-1 to start the season.

Denver Broncos Form

The Broncos created a miracle last Sunday, coming back from a 19-0 deficit in the fourth quarter and Wil Lutz kicking a game-winning field goal with no time remaining to beat the New York Giants 33-32.

The win against the Giants was just as or even more dramatic than their comeback from 3-17 down against Philadelphia two weeks prior getting up over the Eagles by scoring 18 unanswered points in the fourth, with Lutz the hero again.

So, similar to Dallas, what do you make of Denver? They can beat anyone from any deficit in the fourth, but the worry is why do they have to with such a strong defence, which is top five in the league.

Their offence has struggled in 3 quarters of both of those games and was also atrocious in the wedge game in London against the Jets in between their clashes with Philly and New York. Bo Nix isn’t really finding any other receiver than Courtland Sutton making their game very one dimensional relying heavily on the impact of J.K. Dobbins.
