Real Madrid continue to struggle to find consistency and make a proper push toward the top of the standings, where they realistically belong given the quality of their roster.

In the previous round, they suffered their eighth loss of the season, falling to Monaco in a high-scoring game, 100:95.

Madrid played that game without one of their best performers this season, Trey Lyles, who was sidelined with a neck injury. His absence proved to be crucial, as the position he usually covers lacked real contribution.

Mario Hezonja had another game to forget, shooting just 2 of 12 from the field, while Theo Maledon also struggled, scoring only 5 points from the free-throw line.

As a result, the excellent performances of Facundo Campazzo and Edy Tavares went largely unnoticed. The Argentine magician played by far his best game of the season with 28 points and 10 assists, while the Cape Verdean center finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Trey Lyles status for the upcoming game against Dubai remains uncertain, with more clarity expected on game day.

Dubai have looked quite solid in their debut EuroLeague season, despite facing elite competition and dealing with numerous injuries.

With a balanced 9-9 record, they currently sit in 12th place in the standings, but the upcoming schedule is very demanding, making every win extremely valuable.

As expected, most of Dubais victories have come at home, where they play a highly efficient offensive style. Milano experienced that firsthand last week, as they were unable to cope with a red-hot Dubai side.

After scoring 31 points in the first quarter, the direction of the game was clear. The hosts quickly built a 14-point lead and managed to maintain it until the end, although the visitors managed to cut the deficit to a single possession on several occasions.

Dwayne Bacon played his best game since returning from injury, scoring 25 points, while McKinley Wright continued his excellent form with 19 points, 10 assists, and a game-high performance index rating of 30.

The center duo of Petrusev and Kabengele also delivered, combining for 30 points and 15 rebounds, slightly outperforming their counterparts Josh Nebo and Zach LeDay.

This will be the first of two meetings between Real Madrid and Dubai this season. The second matchup will take place in Round 27, when Dubai will host the game.

Real Madrid have produced inconsistent results in the EuroLeague this season, but they have been extremely reliable at home, winning 7 of their 8 games at the Movistar Arena. So far, only Panathinaikos have managed to win there, and that is likely to remain the case after this matchup against Dubai.

Dubai are expected to struggle defensively against one of the most potent offenses in the competition, especially considering that Real Madrid have averaged 96 points per game in their last three home outings.
