South East Melbourne rebounded from an 88-71 loss to the Adelaide 36ers on Thursday last week to absolutely blow out the Illawarra Hawks 116-76 on Saturday at John Cain Arena. The Phoenix are 2-0 on their home court this season.

The biggest difference between the two games last week on the offensive end was the 3pt shooting of the Phoenix, just 25.8% from deep against the 36ers but a much improved 40% in the blowout of the Hawks.
