The 36ers have won 4 straight against the Kings and come into this matchup with the 3rd best scoring rate and the 2nd best defence. Bryce Cotton has not missed a beat since joining the club, he has scored a combined 96 pts across his three games, the most by any 36ers player in their first three matches since Butch Hays in 1991.
Sydney also have a scoring genius in their squad, Kendric Davis has hit 20+ pts in 16 straight games, 13 of those for the 36ers last season. It is the longest active streak of any player in the NBL. For Sydney to have a chance though, they need to work on their shooting. They let the game against Melbourne slip away with poor Free Throw percentage and sub-par defence out wide.
Adelaide will exploit this, they have the cattle to battle Xavier Cooks down low and force him to the charity stripe which has not been a great experience thus far. They also have the 3rd best 3pt% in the league which points to them dragging out the Sydney defence and forcing them to spread the floor.
Bryce Cotton has been on a tear and will likely need to get close to 30 to give Adelaide the shot they need to win this game at home. Take the 36ers to cover the short line and go Over their team total. Bryce Cotton to score 30+ pts and Kendric Davis to ball out against his former team.
- Adelaide have won 4 straight against Sydney and 4 of their last 5 at home dating back to last season.
- The 36ers are the 3rd best scoring unit with the 3rd best 3pt% up against the 7th ranked 3pt defence that gave up 15-32 from deep against Melbourne last game.
- Bryce Cotton is averaging 32 pts per game so far this season.
- Kendric Davis has hit 20+ in 16 straight games and will want to prove to Adelaide that he is the best scorer in the league.

Adelaide 36ers Form & Team News
The 36ers have started the season 3-0 for the first time in over 20 years. Their most recent outing on Thursday night was a 98-89 victory over a resilient Tassie JackJumpers.
Adelaide held a 9pt lead at the half with the scoring being shared amongst the starters. Tassie trimmed it to just 4pts at the final rest before Bryce Cotton and Isaac Humphries took control in the 4th with their chemistry seeming to get better as the minutes rolled on.
The 36ers forced 15 turnovers and dominated the boards 34-26 against one of the league's best big men in Will Magnay. Adelaide now sit 2nd on the ladder behind Melbourne.
Sydney Kings Form & Team News
The Kings were favoured heading into their matchup against Melbourne United on Wednesday night, the first match of the Ignite Cup for both teams. They could not get the job done though, losing 107-93.
Xavier Cooks put up 21pts and 9 boards to go with 4 assists and 4 blocks but hit just 1 of 10 shots from the free throw line. Kendric Davis was a perfect 10-10 from the charity stripe but the shooting woes continued from deep with the team sinking just 9 of 25 attempts from 3pt range.
Despite their opposition missing a chunk of star power on their roster, Sydney could not defend the perimeter effectively with Melbourne hitting at a 46.9% rate from deep. They also got to the line 10 more times than Sydney while also converting at a much higher rate, the points difference in the end being the deciding factor.
