Official Track Manager Comments

For the Catanach's Jewellers, P.B. Lawrence Stakes Day this Saturday, track is currently rated a Soft 7 with a rail back in the true position.

We've recorded just over 32mm of rain, predominantly falling there on Sunday evening and some Monday morning.

Track's in fair order, certainly the true pad has had a nice break off, a bit of marking down the middle and outside of the track so suspect that most racing will be conducted in the first quarter of the track.

Forecast for Saturday is a top of 15 partly cloudy with a light southerly wind, so nothing that is going to impact racing and I would've thought that every horse gets their chance.

Official Track Manager Comments

We're on an improving Soft 5 (now a Good 4). We've got a good week of weather. 7.1mm rainfall for the week, most of that falling last weekend.

We did have 0.1 in a shower mid morning yesterday.

We're rails in true, haven't been in true since the 30th of May, so we've got a really nice cover of grass there.

So the next two days, we're gonna have some beautiful sunshine, which was really nice for this time of year. Spring's definitely on our door.

There is a tip that we might get some light showers Friday night into Saturday morning but we should be clearing into a pretty fine day by the time the races kick off for the first on Saturday.
