Racing returned to Caulfield on Saturday, February 21, for Blue Diamond Stakes Day, with three Group 1 races anchoring the program. The Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) for two-year-olds shared top billing with the Futurity Stakes and Oakleigh Plate.
Pericles secured a deserved Group 1 breakthrough in the Futurity Stakes, before Streisand claimed the Blue Diamond Stakes feature. Tropicus then added the Oakleigh Plate under Craig Williams, who ended the day with three winners overall and two Group 1 victories after earlier partnering Pericles.
