With the World Series upon us, the Texas Rangers are the slight favourites at $1.71 with Unibet, but are they the side to back?

With the World Series already two games old and standing at 1-1, the Texas Rangers are the favourites at $1.67. Meanwhile, the Arizona Diamondbacks are $2.15 to secure the glory. 

The World Series saw the Rangers run out 6-5 winners in game one before they were hammered 9-1 by the Diamondbacks in game two. This means the series is tied at 1-1, with the pair trading blows so far. 

The pair look very strong at the moment, although both were pushed all the way in the League Championship Series. The Rangers battle to a 4-3 win over the Astros, with this secured via a commanding 11-4 win. 

Meanwhile, the Diamondbacks downed the Phillies 4-2 to secure a 4-3 series triumph and take their place in the World Series. 

With mere days standing between either side and eternal glory, entire seasons could be defined by one moment of brilliance or one mistake. 

The 2022 World Series saw the Houston Astros beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-2 to write their names into the history books. However, the pair were eliminated one step short of the World Series, with the Rangers and Diamondbacks securing the win. Which side will triumph in 2023?
