Bookmaker Live Streams - Do I need to sign up?
In nearly all cases, yes. Bookmakers lock live streaming behind an account login for legal and commercial reasons. They must ensure viewers are adults and located in Australia and they offer streams as a benefit to registered customers.
Some of the best bookmakers in Australia that provide customers with live streaming services are listed below:
Why It’s Required
- Age Verification: Legally mandated because sports streams linked with betting must be restricted to individuals 18 or older.
- Commercial Rights: Broadcast rights holders often require bookmakers to gate their streams to paying or funded customers.
*To use the Live Streaming service you will need to be logged in and have a funded account or to have placed a bet in the last 24 hours. Note, under Australian law, Live Streaming on bet365 is exempt from Parts 3 and 4 of the Broadcasting Services (Online Content Service Provider Rules) 2018.
