This son of Almanzor was a dominant debut winner over 1400m and did run into a smart one last time, but did look in need of a longer trip.

Although he comes up in class, I am confident that he is the most progressive horse in this event, and looks ideally suited stepping up to the mile.

From barrier five, Hollymanz should be getting the dream run just behind the speed, and with his neat turn of foot, he looks the horse at the price that can win this.

I was a little disappointed with his last start where he did not come on from well back in the field in stakes company, but his prior start here in the Gothic was huge.

He is by Toronado out of a middle-distance to staying mare, so the step up to the mile should hold no issues and probably will be even more suited.

Today is d-day if he is going to measure up in stakes company, but there is something in the locker that I have liked this campaign and just feel that he can shock a few and bounce back.
