Team Greece, made up of cousins Dezi & Penny, are short-priced favourites to be the first winners of Plate of Origin.

The new show, known as the World Cup of Cooking, launched on Seven Network on August 30 with pairs of cooks representing their nations competing against one another.

The show sees 10 pairs go head to head to be crowned the inaugural winner of Plate of Origin, which will be judged by hosts Manu Feildel, Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston.

With just four pairs remaining in the competition, Team Greece - cousins Dezi & Penny - heads the betting with Sportsbet at $1.10.

Team Vietnam, friends Thanh & Duncan, are $5.50 in the betting ahead of Team Cameroon pair sisters Kelly & Ashley at $9.00.
