Novak comes into this one on the back of a battling 7-6 2-6 6-4 6-3 win over Facundo Bagnis. This victory was one that saw Novak put on the back-foot regularly, with Bagnis giving Novak a run for his money.

Of course, you should not look away from the fact that Novak has won six of his last eight, while he beat Kubler the last time they met. Despite this, many bettors will look to back Kubler over his opponent, with Novak not looking at his best in the first round.
