Novak Djokovic strolled past Lorenzo Musetti in the last round as he secured a 6-4 7-6 6-4 win over his opponent.

The pair have met five times in total, with Djokovic leading their head to head 3-2 including wins in their last two meetings.

Carlos Alcaraz Form

Carlos Alcaraz has been in scintillating touch of late, winning his last three matches in four sets as he continues to put his incredible skill and ability on full show.

Daniil Medvedev threatened an upset following the first set of their semi-final, but Alcaraz turned up the heat in the second set and his opponent could not handle it. This was Alcaraz's 32nd win in 38 games in 2024, while he has seven wins in eight on grass this year.

While Alcaraz trails Djokovic in their head to head, Alcaraz won the last time the two met at Wimbledon, with this coming in the final last year. While I believe this Alcaraz will not have it all his own way against arguably the greatest tennis player of all time, I do predict that he will secure the title once again.

Novak Djokovic Form

Novak Djokovic was in no mood to mess around in the semi-finals at Wimbledon as he steamrolled Lorenzo Musetti in three sets.

This triumph was his second win in straight-sets in his last three, with his other match ending in a bye as Alex de Minaur was forced to withdraw in the quarter-finals. Djokovic has looked very good despite only playing 29 matches this year and he will relish the challenge lying in wait in the final.

While the 37-year-old will give everything to ensure that he is the last player left standing, I do not predict that he will win this one. Alcaraz has looked superb this summer, and I am backing Djokovic to once again fall at the hands of the youngster.
