In one of the least shocking Australian Opens in recent history, Novak Djokovic took out a record seventh title at Melbourne Park.
His opponent Dominic Thiem pushed the Serb to a fifth set in the final but the world number one managed to pull victory out of the jaws of defeat to deliver a stunning success down under.
Will it be more of the same in 2021 or can a new contender emerge?

Men's Australian Open 2021 Best Bet - Novak Djokovic (Tipped at $2.40)
How can you bet against the best player ever to take to Rod Laver Arena?
Even in the final against Dominic Thiem when he was down two sets to one there was an air of invincibility about Djokovic that a final push was coming. Novak delivered the killer blows when he needed to and looked every bit of the seven-time Australian Open champion that he is.
He has been injury riddled all tournament, but has pulled out his usual bag of tricks when things have gotten tough and he thoroughly deserves his spot in the final.
He will have to face one of two very good young men on the way up through the ranks though, so this will be a real grind for the champ.
Men's Australian Open 2021 Next Best Bet - Daniil Medvedev
Taking on Stefanos Tsitispas in the semi-final, he has suffered just the one scare throughout the tournament in the second round where he prevailed in the fifth set 6-0.
He is the new hard court star on the rise, now with a ranking of four in the world, everything is still ahead of this great young man.
He was double figures in the early betting, which in reality was a silly price based off his 2020 form.
If he can beat Tsitispas on Friday night, he can take it right up to the champ.
Men's Australian Open 2021 Value Bet - Stefanos Tsitisipas
After a ripping 2020 Australian Open tournament, he has come back and playing argably better tennis, beating Rafael Nadal in five sets to make it to the semi-final.
It does look a mouth watering clash between the two young stars on Friday night, although Tsitsipas is going to have to pull something special out after a gut busing match against Raffa.
If he makes it through to the final, it seems hard for him to beat Djokovic, although he will be playing with momentum from two big match wins.
Although we are not backing him, I could not talk you out of taking him to win the final.
