Jannik Sinner had to battle for his win over Daniil Medvedev in the last four, with the match going to three sets.

The pair have met four times with Djokovic leading the head to head 3-1. Interestingly, Sinner won the last meeting between the pair mere days ago.

Novak Djokovic Form

Novak Djokovic has been in sublime form this year, and he has brought this form into the ATP Tour Finals with yet another grand final appearance this year.

A shock loss in three sets to Sinner in his second game at the competition will have Djokovic wary of his opponent, but he has also beaten Holger Rune, Hubert Hurkacz and Carlos Alcaraz in a strong run.

Despite losing to his opponent last time out, Djokovic will be very confident that he can extract yet another win against Sinner and secure another trophy.

Jannik Sinner Form

Jannik Sinner has been excellent at the Tour Finals, winning all four of his matches including a 7-5 6-7 7-6 win over Djokovic in the group.

Bar a 6-4 6-4 win over Stefanos Tsitsipas, Sinner has gone the distance in each of his matches, with wins over Holger Rune and Daniil Medvedev hardly comfortable.

If Sinner is to win this one then he will need no small measure of luck against arguably the greatest player of all time, with it more likely that Djokovic will notch his fourth win in five meetings between the pair.
