England Women rode their luck against Nigeria in the Round of 16, with the side needing penalties to move into the quarter-finals.

Colombia Women had to fight very hard to beat Jamaica 1-0 in their Round of 16 outing as they bounced back from a 1-0 defeat to Morroco the game before.

The two sides have only met once, with England running out 2-1 winners at the 2015 World Cup.
England Women Form
England Women looked very strong across their World Cup group-stage campaign as they beat Haiti, Denmark and China, with the last game a stunning 6-1 win that saw the English playing some sublime football.
However, they were completely dominated by Nigeria in their Round of 16 match as they could only best their opponents on penalties, with England out-fought and out-thought on the day in a sobering match for the outfit.
While this will be a good learning experience for England, they cannot afford to get dominated in the same sort of way in their quarter-final, with Colombia likely to punish them.
Colombia Women Form
Colombia were very good in their opening two matches of the World Cup as they beat South Korea and Germany. However, their 1-0 defeat to Morocco had some questioning whether the wheels would come off their campaign.
In response to this, Colombia managed to down a Jamaica side that has been incredibly tough to breach, with their 1-0 win seeing them return to form.
Colombia will hope to benefit from England's 120 minutes of football mere days ago as they hope to eliminate the reigning European champions at the quarter-final stage.
Verdict
Despite their woes in the last round, I believe that England will come out on top in this one in a match that they win by a single goal.
