We successfully backed Lion City at plus money in the Double Chance market in the opening leg, with the Singaporean outfit prevailing 2-0. However, this should be a different game. Lion City are much better in their home conditions, where they play on a synthetic pitch and the heat/humidity plays into their hands. Sydney dominated possession (70%) in the opening leg, but they couldn't convert their 12 shots into any meaningful chances.
I'm backing that to change in the second leg. Sydney will be buoyed by a 2-2 draw with A-League leaders Auckland this past weekend and Lion City have struggled on the road in continental football lately, failing to win five of their last seven matches. Furthermore, Lion City were crushed 6-1 by Sanfrecce Hiroshima on the road in the quarter-finals before advancing in fortuitous circumstances as Hiroshima fielded an ineligible player. Sydney should be good to at least force extra-time before qualifying for the final.

Head To Head
Lion City prevailed 2-0 in the first leg in Singapore, with Bart Ramselaar scoring a spectacular goal in the 18th minute before Lennart Thy added a second eight minutes into the second half.
Sydney FC Form
After finishing second behind Sanfrecce Hiroshima in the group stage, Sydney have registered some impressive victories in the knockout phase of the AFC Champions League 2.
Sydney accounted for Bangkok United by a 5-4 scoreline on aggregate before easing past Korean heavyweights Jeonbuk Motors 5-2 over two legs.
Ufuk Talay's side are fighting for a finals spot in the A-League, with last week's 2-2 draw with Auckland seeing them clinging onto sixth spot heading into Easter.
Sydney FC Team News
Adrian Segecic has been on fire all season and scored a first half double in the win over Auckland. Segecic looked threatening off the bench in the first leg against Lion City and could be in line for a start here.
Lion City Form
It's been a dream Champions League run for Lion City, who have lofty ambitions and are owned by Singaporean billionaire Forrest Li.
However, it's safe to say Lion City have been fairly fortunate to make it this far - they only advanced into the knockout phase by a single point and then benefitted from the aforementioned 3-0 forfeit by Hiroshima in the first leg of the quarter-finals.
Lion City remain top of the Singapore Premier League, but they were held to a 0-0 draw by DPMM over the weekend.
Lion City Team News
Lion City are expected to name the same starting side that conquered Sydney in the first leg, with former Socceroos defender Bailey Wright returning down under in a bid to thwart the Sky Blues.

Verdict
Lion City were always going to be dangerous at home, but I'm not sure they can reproduce that effort at Allianz.
Sydney have various attackers that can unlock the Lion City defence, including Douglas Costa, Patryk Klimala, Joe Lolley and Adrian Segecic. I'm backing the Sky Blues to overturn their two-goal deficit and advance into the final.
