Ligue 1 is edging towards the business end of proceedings, with the top league in France championing goals, skill and saves once again.

Paris Saint-Germain arrive as the big favourites to secure yet another title at $1.01 with Betfair, with this price coming after they have put an inconsistent start behind them to move to the top of Ligue 1.

Even without looking at the odds, most would assume that PSG will be huge favourites to secure the Ligue 1 title this year and they would be proved correct in this assumption, with the reigning champions currently $1.01 with Betfair.

However, they had to battle back from a poor start to move to the summit, with the side dropping points in both of their opening two games. Now, they boast an 11-point lead at the summit after 23 games.

Monaco ($51.00) and Brest ($81.00) are seen as PSG's biggest rivals, but the game already seems to be up, with the former 13-points shy of the leaders.

The likes of Brest and Monaco will be desperate to take advantage of any rift or unease in the PSG squad this year, with the other 17 sides needing to take any advantage they can get if they are to topple the reigning champions.

While PSG only won the league by a single point last year, they are still a long way ahead of those below them, and they will fancy their chances of securing yet another league title. However, with a relatively young squad that will also want to challenge in Europe, can they juggle the struggles of fighting in multiple competitions?

Do you think any side can end PSG's dominance of French football this season?
