Bayern Munich were brilliant across their Champions League group-stage campaign, avoiding defeat as they romped to the top of the group.

Lazio looked strong across their group-stage campaign, but they came undone in their final match, losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid. This defeat saw Lazio miss the chance to top Group E as they were given a tie against Bayern in the Round of 16.
A 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in their opening home group game was a good result, but Bayern are on a different level to Atleti. Lazio need to start well and ensure they do not allow Bayern time and space to get the likes of Harry Kane on the ball in front of goal.
Wins over Feyenoord (1-0) and Celtic (2-0) shows Lazio are good at home, but it is worth noting that they have lost two of their last four in all competitions as they trundle towards this crunch match.
Bayern Munich Form
Bayern Munich were excellent in the group-stage as they managed to avoid the chaos below them to finish eight-points clear at the top of Group A.
A 0-0 draw with Copenhagen in game five was the only blot on their copybook, although qualification for the next round had already been secured by then. They then finished in the group with a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford. Bayern did not play well against United, but the hallmark of a great side is their ability to grind out a result, which is exactly what they did.
Lazio will provide a tough test for the German side, but with Harry Kane up-front and looking to edge closer to his first ever Champions League trophy, I am backing the away side at $1.73 with Unibet.
