Hungary vs Switzerland Tips - Hungary to secure all three points against Switzerland

Switzerland were shocked by Romania in a 1-0 loss last time out as their winless run was extended to four matches. 

Hungary have won two of their last nine against the Swiss, with Switzerland winning four times and three games ending as draws. 

Hungary have been building well heading into Euro 2024, with the side securing wins over Montenegro, Turkey, Kosovo and Israel. A 2-1 loss to Ireland was a surprising one, but they bounced back in style with a 3-0 win over Israel in their last outing. 

While Hungary face the prospect of playing in one of the toughest groups at the competition, they will be confident they can top the standings this summer. 

The side have been building well in recent years, and actually finished above Group A rivals Germany in their 2022/23 Nations League Group. If Hungary are to mount an assault on top-spot, they have to win this match and get off to a positive start. 

Switzerland were poor in the final stages of qualifying for Euro 2024 as they slipped to a defeat and three draws as they finished second behind Romania in qualifying. 

Following their qualifying campaign, the Swiss have managed to pick up two wins in their last four, drawing with Denmark and Austria. 

While Switzerland are always a tough side to break down, they hardly seem unbeatable, and I am backing them to slip to defeat in their opening match.
