Manchester City vs West Ham Tips
Manchester City eased past Tottenham in a 2-0 win in midweek to move to within a single victory of retaining the Premier League title this season.
- Manchester City vs West Ham Tips
- Head To Head
- Manchester City Form
- West Ham Form
West Ham beat Luton 3-1 to end a run of four without a win in the Premier League.
- City have won their last eight league games
- City have won to nil in four of their last five league outings
- West Ham have lost their last two away games
- The Hammers have been beaten to nil in two of their last three meetings with City
Head To Head
City have won seven of their last 10 against West Ham with two games ending as draws and the Hammers winning once.
Manchester City Form
Manchester City are on the cusp of yet another Premier League title, with the side two points clear of Arsenal with a single game to come.
While City do have their fate in their own hands, they know a draw would not see them retain the title if Arsenal are to win their game due to their slightly superior goal difference. Pep Guardiola's men will not want to leave anything up to chance this week.
With a string of wins to nil including a huge 2-0 victory over Tottenham in midweek, I am backing City to be crowned Premier League champions yet again on the back of a clean sheet and a win.
West Ham Form
West Ham gave David Moyes the perfect send off at the London Stadium with a 3-1 win over Luton last week.
This triumph put an end to a run of four without a win which included defeats to Fulham, Crystal Palace and Chelsea along with a draw at the hands of Liverpool. While the Hammers did impress in their win over Luton, they now face their toughest test of the season as they travel to face City.
While I predict that David Moyes will set his side up to challenge City, I believe this will simply play into City's gameplan as the Hammers leave on the back of another defeat.
Verdict
I am backing City to win this one to nil as they secure the Premier League title on the back of a commanding win.
