- Nottingham Forest Form
Arne Slot's side have taken a maximum nine points from their three games and will be confident of emerging victorious against a Forest side who haven't tasted victory at Anfield in over four decades.
- Liverpool have won all three league games this season
- Liverpool have won all of those games to nil
- Liverpool are unbeaten in 60 of their last 62 league games at Anfield (won 47)
- Liverpool are unbeaten vs Forest at Anfield since 1978 (won 20, drawn six)
- Liverpool beat Forest 3-0 at Anfield last season
- Liverpool have scored 2+ goals in 16 of their last 20 league games at Anfield
- Mo Salah has scored in every league game this season
Head To Head
Liverpool have won four of the last five meetings between the teams and crushed Forest 3-0 at Anfield last season. Forest haven't won at Anfield since 1978, losing 20 times in that period.
Liverpool Form
It's been a flawless and dream start for Arne Slot in the Premier League, with the Dutchman guiding Liverpool to three wins from three.
Victories over Ipswich and Brentford are to be expected, but fans would have been delighted with Liverpool's thumping 3-0 triumph over rivals Man United at Old Trafford before the break.
Luis Diaz scored a first-half double and Mo Salah added a third in the dominant victory. Salah has now scored in all three Premier League games this season, while he also netted for Egypt in the international break.
Nottingham Forest Form
Forest remain unbeaten in the league after three games, although they were eliminated from the EFL Cup by Newcastle on penalties.
New Zealand striker Chris Wood scored in the 1-1 draws against Bournemouth and Wolves, while Morgan Gibbs-White grabbed the winner in Forest's 1-0 victory over Southampton on the road.
All in all it's been a solid start for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, but this is obviously by far their biggest test so far.
Verdict
Liverpool are flying to start the season and haven't conceded a single goal in their three victories.
The Reds have an imposing record at Anfield, losing just twice in their last 62 league games at the venue, while Forest have repeatedly struggled on all of their visits to the ground over the last four or so decades.
Backing Liverpool to register another shut-out victory, while Mo Salah will once again be the main threat for the hosts.
