Fulham vs Brighton Tips
Fulham return to league action following a stunning 2-1 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
- Fulham vs Brighton Tips
- Head To Head
- Fulham Form
- Brighton Form
Brighton could not separate themselves from a stubborn Everton last week as they had to settle for a point in a 1-1 draw.
- Fulham have drawn two of their last five league games (W2, L1)
- Brighton have drawn nine times this season (W10, L7)
- The two sides have drawn three of their last five meetings
Head To Head
Fulham have won six of their last 15 meetings with their opponents. Meanwhile, Brighton have won five times, with the other four ending in draws.
Fulham Form
Fulham have been in fairly good form of late, with the side tasting defeat in just one of their last five league outings.
A 2-1 win over Manchester United last week saw Fulham take full advantage of a complete meltdown from their opponents, with their ninth win of the season helping them to move onto 32 points, meaning they are 12 clear of Luton in 18th.
While Fulham have home advantage heading into this one, they have only won one of their last three home games, losing once and drawing once.
Brighton Form
Brighton were the better team by some distance against Everton last week, but they could not kill the game off as a contest, with the Toffees holding on for a point.
This 1-1 draw followed on from their 5-0 hammering of Sheffield United the week before, with Brighton hugely inconsistent in front of goal of late. These inconsistencies have seen the side slip down to seventh on the ladder, 13 points short of Aston Villa in fourth.
While Brighton will be desperate to extend their unbeaten run to three games in the league, I do not predict that they will do enough to put distance between themselves and their inconsistent hosts.
Verdict
With neither side able to be particularly consistent this season, I am backing the two sides to share the points this weekend.
