Burnley vs Brighton Tips - Can Burnley stun inconsistent Brighton?

Brighton were hammered 3-0 by Arsenal in their last match as they made it three without a win in the league. 

Burnley have won three of their last 10 against Brighton, with the latter winning twice and the other five ending as draws. 

Burnley couldn't find a way to break down a stubborn Everton last week as they fell to a 1-0 loss, meaning the side are now six points short of safety.

Despite this defeat, Burnley arrive in good form, losing just one of their last five, winning once and drawing three times. Their last win came at Turf Moor when they hosted Brentford, with Burnley downing their inconsistent opponents 2-1. 

Now, Burnley turn their attention to another side that has been very inconsistent this season. A win over Brighton in this one would boost their survival hopes massively, and the home side know their opponents are a side they can beat. 

Brighton have found wins tough to come by of late, with the side languishing in 10th on the ladder following three without a victory.

Their 3-0 loss to Arsenal in their last game put into perspective how far behind the top sides Brighton currently are, while they have now lost two of their last three games on the road. 

With eight defeats in 16 away games this season, Brighton have found it tough to consistently compete with the team hosting them, and I am backing them to fail to win this week.
