Bayern Munich secured the win in a pulsating 5-4 triumph against Heidenheim when the sides met for the only time in the DFB Pokal back in 2019.

Following a small hiccup that saw Bayern draw against Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig, the reigning champions have been superb, winning four games in a row.

Their last two outings have been particularly impressive, with the side hammering Darmstadt 8-0 before crushing Borussia Dortmund 4-0. While these two wins have still not seen Bayern move to the summit, they are heaping the pressure on leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

With 15 goals in his debut season in the Bundesliga, I am backing Harry Kane to score a brace against a side that has conceded 22 times in 10 matches this term.

Heidenheim Form

Heidenheim were staring at the prospect of losing four matches in a row ahead of hosting Stuttgart last weekend, with the side stuttering in the league.

However, their 2-0 win over Stuttgart, which was their first win since the end of September, has seen the side move up to 13th on the ladder with 10 points, four clear of the relegation places.

While Heidenheim will be desperate to build on their win over Stuttgart, the fact they have picked up one point from five away games suggests they will not take a win from this one.
