Mikhail Martinovich’s side then beat BATE Borisov 2-1 at home with Nikita Melnikov scoring both goals. Slavia Mozyr travelled to Dinamo Brest and won 2-1 with Andrey Chukhley converting a penalty after Nikita Melnikov was fouled and Aleksandr Kotlyarov making it 2-0.
Slavia made it three wins in a row after beating BATE 1-0 in the Belarusian Cup semifinal first leg. A clever pass from Aleksandr Kotlyarov saw Yuriy Pantya score early, Andrey Chukhley went close to making it 2-0 and Igor Costrov forced a save in added time.
Attackers Nikita Melnikov and Aleksandr Kotlyarov are in great form with Andrey Chukhley pulling the strings. Gleb Shevchenko was dangerous against BATE and the Belarus U21 captain appears to have a bright future ahead.
Midfielder Aleksandr Anufriev and striker Dennis Tetteh are injured and doubtful for Monday’s match. Forward Maksym Slyusar is out long term.

Ruh Brest’s first Belarusian First League campaign started with a 1-0 win at Dinamo Minsk. Oleksiy Kovtun headed home Chidi Osuchukwu’s corner with goalkeeper Aleksandr Nechaev making important saves in the second half.
Ruh Brest suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Energetik-BGU with Sergey Tikhonovskiy going closest with a long range shot that hit the post.
Aleksandr Sednev’s side travelled to BATE Borisov last week and lost 1-0. They conceded from a corner in the 7th minute but fought back in the second half with Ilya Kolpachuk going close and Artem Petrenko hitting the post.
Centre back Artem Rakhmanov is recovering from injury and striker Artem Petrenko is doubtful. Abdoulaye Diallo is the most likely candidate to replace Petrenko up front.
