Dinamo’s last match didn’t go to plan after a 1-0 defeat at Vitebsk. They conceded a needless penalty late on and saw centre backs Kiki Gabi and Yevgen Khacheridi sent off.
Attacking midfielder Sergey Krivets and striker Evgeni Shevchenko got their first starts of the season at Vitebsk. Dinamo continue to look for a replacement for attacking midfielder Elis Bakaj who will miss the entire season with a cruciate ligament injury.

Shakhter Soligorsk started the 2020 Belarusian Premier League season with a 1-0 home defeat to Torpedo but bounced back with a 2-0 win at Gorodeya. Yurii Vernydub’s side then drew 0-0 at home against Neman Grodno after hitting the post twice.
A 2-0 defeat to Dinamo Brest in the Belarus Cup followed before a 0-0 draw at Smolevichi. They created more chances but were guilty of poor finishing.
Shakhter’s last match was a 2-1 home defeat to Slutsk. They started the match strong with Darko Bodul smashing the bar but went behind after goalkeeper Aleksandr Gutor misjudged a free kick.
Bodul saw a penalty saved in the 53rd minute with Slutsk reduced to 10 men. Vitali Lisakovich forced a save, Shakhter finally going ahead through an 88th minute own goal but unable find an equaliser.
Georrgian winger Lasha Shindagoridze sustained a serious knee injury against Smolevichi and could be out for some time. Defender Nikola Antic continues to recover from injury and right back Sergey Matveychik has been training with the reserves after falling out of favour.
Centre back Ruslan Khadarkevich returned to the starting side against Slutsk. Giorgi Diasamidze was hooked for Vitali Lisakovich at half time last time out which could see Lisakovich start up front with Darko Bodul.
