Their 13th defeat of the season was one that saw a four-game unbeaten run brought to an end following wins over Perth Glory and Western Sydney Wanderers and draws with Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory.

Macarthur remain in the finals spot in fifth place, but now have just a five point cushion to seventh-placed Melbourne City.
