Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC Tips - Sky Blues to stun Wanderers in A-League derby

Sydney FC took a point from Melbourne City last week as they extended their unbeaten run to six matches and I like the odds for a Sky Blues win in the derby.

The Wanderers edge the head to head 5-4 in the last 10 meetings with their opponents with one draw.

The Western Sydney Wanderers held on for a 2-1 victory in their clash with Adelaide United last week as the got nervy and conceded a 94th minute goal.

It was a first win in four games with two defeats and a draw coming in the preceding three games. 

Two defeats in their last three home games shows they are hardly in great form on their own patch either with the Wanderers slipping down to fifth.

Sydney FC took a point from finals rivals Melbourne City last week in a 1-1 draw as they made it six games without defeat in the A-League. 

With two wins in their last three league games and six victories in their last 10, Sydney are currently building well towards the finals.

The Sky Blues started this round in sixth place, sitting 10 points short of leaders Wellington Phoenix and four clear of seventh placed Melbourne City.
