Macarthur Form
Macarthur have regained some form after suffering consecutive defeats.
A poor 12 minutes in the opening half saw the Bulls concede three times against Melbourne City, who went on to win the match 3-0.
Macarthur quickly rectified this as they came from behind to defeat Western United 2-1 at home. Striker Matt Derbyshire equalised before ex-Athletic Bilbao midfielder Markel Susaeta slotted the winner.
They backed this up with a narrow 1-0 victory away to Wellington, with young midfielder Denis Genreau scoring the game’s only goal.
Macarthur Team News
Macarthur’s only player injured is striker Milislav Popovic who is nursing a hamstring injury.
Perth Glory Form
With several games in hand, the Glory are expected to have a big second half of the season.
Perth are unbeaten in their last two after a comprehensive 3-0 defeat away to Western Sydney.
The Glory responded with a 1-1 draw against reigning champions Sydney FC. Striker Bruno Fornaroli opened the scoring before Sydney’s Bobo equalised midway through the second half.
Perth only had to wait another week to pick up their first win in five matches. 19-year-old Ciaran Bramwell netted his debut goal while ex-PEC Zwolle defender Darrlyn Lachman also scored in the 2-1 win.
Perth Glory Team News
The Glory are still without forward Chris Ikonomidis who is recovering from a knee injury.
