The 2023/24 A-League season is heating up, with the top sides in Australia all battling for the biggest prize in football in the country.

With the competition at the Grand Final, the Central Coast Mariners are the favourites at $1.70 with bet365, with the side looking strong this season.

With the tension ramping up, the Central Coast Mariners are the favourites to win the competition this year at $1.70, with Melbourne Victory the only other side left in the competition at $2.05.

The Elimination Finals saw Sydney FC hammer Macarthur in an impressive 4-0 win before Melbourne Victory edged to a win on penalties over Melbourne City.

The semi-finals then saw the Central Coast edge past Sydney FC in a 2-1 win after Melbourne Victory stunned Wellington Phoenix in a 2-1 triumph.

In the 2022/23 season, Melbourne City romped to the title win as they finished with 16 wins, seven draws and three defeats in 26 games. The 55 points they picked up means they finished the regular season at the summit 11 points clear of the Central Coast Mariners in second.

However, City were left red-faced in the final as they were humiliated in a 6-1 loss to the Mariners as they missed out on doing the double.

The Mariners' triumph was made even more impressive when considering they finished 11 points behind City at the summit, while they only finished two points clear of Adelaide United in third. The Mariners simply proved that winning the league can often mean very little in the Grand Final.

With only two teams, left, who will be the last team standing in the A-League?
