The 2023 Women's World Cup is already in full swing as we stand at the final, with two of the top teams in the world coming together to battle for the biggest prize in football, with only two sides now left in the competition.

The tournament has already thrown up some stunning results, but none were as surprising as the reigning champions the USA being dumped out with this seeing England become the outright favourites to lift the World Cup at $1.80 with bet365 after they beat Australia in the first semi-final.

The USA have dominated the Women's World Cup for years, with the 2015 World Cup in Canada and the 2019 World Cup in France both being won by the Americans. However, they have been denied the chance to secure their third triumph in a row as Sweden dowed them in a stunning win on penalties.

With the USA dumped out of the competition after looking well below par across the tournament, European side England are now the favourites at $1.80 with bet365. However, the Spanish are right behind them at $1.95.

Tournament co-hosts Australia came into the semi-finals as the underdogs and they gave England a real scare as they levelled the game at 1-1. However, European champions England showed their class to go 3-1 up and secure their place in the final.

Sweden threatened to stun Spain in the semi-final as they drew things level at 1-1 in the 88th minute, but Spain scored a stunning winner a minute later to go through to the final in style.

Both games lived up to the hype, with stunning goals, huge drama and nail-biting moments helping to make this the best Women's World Cup ever.

Now, with just one game standing between England and Spain and eternal glory, this match will see one side write their names in history. Can England back up their European Championship triumph by snaring the World Cup crown, or will Spain stun the English at the final hurdle?
