The 2022 Super Rugby kicks off on 18 February with the Waratahs facing off against new boys, Fijian Drua.

South Africa, Argentina and Japan have left Super Rugby which means the entire tournament is played in the Pacific region. New Zealand and Australia have five franchises each while Fijian Drua and Moana Pasifika are new to the competition.

The Crusaders are the most successful Super Rugby franchise and are favourites at $2.50, followed closely by the Blues at 43.75 with bookmaker bet365.

Four of the five New Zealand sides are fancied ahead of the Reds, the first Australia on the odds list at $15.00.
