Head to Head

The last four games between these two sides have all gone in the Blues favour.

Reds Form

The Reds are enjoying a very strong season and currently find themselves fourth on the table. They are five points off the Brumbies in third but do have a game in hand.

The Reds started the season with two wins before losing away to the Crusaders. They bounced back to win three on the trot against the Waratahs, Highlanders and Western Force before going down to the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Last week the Reds suffered their first home loss as they went down 39-26 to the Brumbies.

Blues Form

The Blues are having a very poor season as the defending champions as they try to hang onto eighth spot. They have won three and lost six games thus far.

A good run for the Auckland side can still see them climb the table with just six points separating them from fourth place. Recent weeks have seen an improvement for the Blues with two wins in their last three.

The Blues narrowly beat the Hurricanes 19-18 at home before easily seeing off Moana 36-17. Last weekend, the Blues could have won in Christchurch against the Crusaders but ended up losing 25-22.
