Brumbies vs Western Force Preview
In 2024, the Force took the Brumbies to the death in both Canberra and Perth. I expect this to be close too with the Force to get within the 15.5 handicap.

Head to Head
Last season the Brumbies did the double on the Western Force, winning both home and away. However, the victories were both by less than a score as the Canberra side won by five away from home and by three at home.
Brumbies Form
The Brumbies must be getting quite frustrated with their Super Rugby results. They have been the strongest Australian side for the last few years, they just can’t get over the semi-final hurdle.
In 2024, the Brumbies finished third on the table despite having the exact same win loss ratio as the top two sides. Bonus points cost them dearly.
In round one of the 2025 Super Rugby campaign, the Brumbies beat Fijian Drua 36-32 away from home. There is certainly plenty to work on, but the victory was not easily achieved when you look at the Drua’s history at home.

Western Force Form
The Western Force will be hoping for a season where they are not fighting all season to stay away from the wooden spoon. They’ve struggled in recent seasons and may well do so again in 2025.
However, last weekend, the Force got off to a strong start, beating Moana 45-44 at home. It did take a last minute converted try to win the game, one in which the Force when through 20+ phases.
That said, Moana are there and thereabout where the Force are in terms of league position expected finishes. So, a win here against a top side will go a long way for the Force.
