The 2023 Rugby Championship may operate under a reduced format this year, but with the Rugby World Cup in France just around the corner, this is the perfect chance for the four biggest southern hemisphere sides to find form.

With the competition now two games old, New Zealand have shortened slightly at the head of the betting, with the All Blacks now $1.11 with Unibet to win the Rugby Championship.

The opening two weekends of the 2023 Rugby Championship have not disappointed as New Zealand have romped to an early lead, moving four points clear at the top of the table, with this seeing the All Blacks installed as the $1.11 favourites to win the competition.

South Africa have drifted out to $6.00, while Argentina are the big outsiders at $101.00, with Australia the only side unable to win the competition ahead of the third and final game.

The first week saw New Zealand and South Africa beat Argentina and Australia respectively. The second weekend then saw the All Blacks claim a stunning 35-20 win over the Springboks as Australia were humbled in a 34-31 home loss to Argentina.

The final weekend will be played at the end of July, and it sees Australia hosting New Zealand, while Argentina travel to take on South Africa. The Aussies are still looking for their first win under Eddie Jones, and they have the unenviable job of taking on a New Zealand side that is getting better with each game that passes.

Meanwhile, Argentina could finish in second if they beat South Africa this weekend in what should be a thrilling weekend to finish off the 2023 Rugby Championship.

While performances in the Rugby Championship will not decide how the teams do in the World Cup, a string of wins or defeats will have a big impact on the confidence of a team heading into the tournament.

Australia are struggling the most right now, with Eddie Jones' tenure as coach starting off with two tough defeats. Can the Aussies find a way to stun the All Blacks in their final game, or will the side taste another heavy defeat?
