Three-time group one winning sprinter Sunlight has been sold for $4.2 million at Monday's Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on the Gold Coast.

A winner of more than $6.5 million in prize money with her first major coming via the 2018 Magic Millions 2yo Classic at the Gold Coast, Sunlight was purchased for $300,000 at the 2017 Magic Millions Yearling Sales when selected by trainer Tony McEvoy for an all female syndicate.

The Coolmore Stud Stakes (2018), Newmarket Handicap (2019) and William Reid Stakes (2019) were the group one victories won by this daughter of Zoustar.

Tom Magnier (Coolmore Stud) had the winning bid for Sunlight at today's sales.

Other lots to fetch over $1 million today include the Chris Waller-trained pair of Invincibella ($1.3 million) and Unforgotten ($2.75 million).
