Order Of Command Will Run in Saturday's Group One Goodwood
Last-start Wangoom Handicap winner Order Of Command will head to Adelaide for a tilt at Saturday's Group One Goodwood at Morphettville.
The five-year-old, who carried 62kg to win the Warrnambool flat feature last week, will travel to Adelaide with much less weight on his back but Ethan Brown in the saddle. Damian Oliver, who usually pairs with the horse, will be riding at Flemington on Saturday due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
Trainer Danny O'Brien, who won the 2005 Goodwood with mare Glamour Puss, took to Twitter to confirm the news that his star will compete in the last Group One race of the Adelaide Autumn Carnival.
A consistent son of Squamosa, Order Of Command has put together a solid record in his career to date, registering eight wins including two at listed level across 21 starts.
The five-year-old brings in solid form after a comfortable first-up win at Caulfield before carrying 62kg to victory in Warrnambool sprint feature on May 6.
Order Of Command is currently a $13 chance via the all-in market with Bet365 for Saturday's Group One Goodwood.
