Dual group one-winning sprinter Loving Gaby has run her last race with connections retiring the four-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible due to a recent injury.
A recent statement by Maher & Eustace Racing declared the following:
"It is with great disappointment, we announce Loving Gaby is set to miss the spring carnival,"
"She has heat and inflammation to her near fore limb, which has forced us to end her preparation prematurely.
"The decision has been made to retire her. It is deeply disappointing for her owners Phoenix Thoroughbreds, the team at home and her fans.
"She gave us all great memories and we are looking forward to seeing her progeny on the track."
Major victories for Loving Gaby include the Group One Manikato Stakes (2019) and the Group One William Reid Stakes (2020) whilst she was also placed five times at Group One level over her 14-start career.
