Heat Forces Early Saturday Start For Gawler
- With a top forecast of 42 degrees, Saturday's Gawler meeting will begin earlier

Hot weather has forced an early start time for Saturday's Gawler meeting. (Getty)
This decision has been made in conjunction with the TRSA Industry Vet, Stewards, Equine Welfare Officer and the Gawler & Barossa Jockey Club, having regard for the temperature as well as the predicted wind and humidity throughout the day.
The amended times for the Gawler races are:
Race 1 – 10.35 am
Race 2 – 11.05 am
Race 3 – 11.35 am
Race 4 – 12.05 pm
Race 5 – 12.36 pm
Race 6 – 1.11 pm
Race 7 – 1.46 pm
Race 8 – 2.21 pm
Race 9 – 3.01 pm
